With so many studio choices for senior pictures in the Ann Arbor, Brighton area thought I’d share some comments of moms & recent seniors who have come to Photo Generations studio in Dexter for their senior portraits in the last few weeks.

Calm. Deliberate. Easy. Comfortable. Intense. Quiet. That’ what Kurt brought to his session a few days ago. The Brighton Mi High School senior is a wrestler–and I bet he’s focused when it comes time for a wrestling match. Love the Brighton High School orange and black colors! We had soft evening light–very warm light and it warmed up the tone of the images. Outstanding session!
I look forward to getting good action shots of Kurt wrestling during a wrestling match during the school year in addition to making these senior pictures last week!
This year we will be directly uploading Kurt’s senior picture to the site specified by BrightonHigh School yearbook advisor. And we have plenty of time to make the deadline..
In the 86 degree heat and we got great images yesterday at Brittany’s senior picture session. Brittany, you’ve got lot’s of choices. You were a trooper!

“Fun” means different things to different people. For Class of 2011 about to be high school seniors, some of them have fun posing for the camera. Lauren definately did last week. She wanted a portrait in a field and we found one.
As a portrait photographer, sometimes it is ‘fun’ to play with a picture to see what can look like with different treatments. And that’s what I just did with a few of Lauren’s proofs.
June 25th, 2010 | Category: senior pictures  'lucky be the man who recognize his passion' This senior from Pioneer high loved his dog, the cable guy, and chemistry, and his mom gathered the props to make this portrait happen! Most intensive planning often happens for music or sports portraits--bringing in the instument, or hockey pads,stick jersey, skates-or football, but a non-atheletic portrait with props is rarer and that is why this is ' A photographer favorite from the photo generations senior portrait archives.'

From our archives: In 2007 we really wanted to do something extra special for senior portrait clients coming to the studio. So we entered a national program giving high school seniors coming to the studio for pictures a chance to win a $5000 scholarship or to win a national drawing with the choice of a Mustang GT or twenty thousand dollars.
With the high caliber of young women and men coming to the studio for portraits, I expected an Ann Arbor area grad to win the scholarship. But I was delighted to learn we had actully won the drawing for $20,000! so that is why we call our studio for senior portraits, ‘the luckiest portrait studio in the USA’ Because we are!>
