LiASONS high school senior portrait Models Wanted at Photo Generations, downtown Dexter, mi

LiASON Pronunciation: /lɪˈeɪz(ə)n, -zɒn/  : noun:   communication or cooperation which facilitates a close working relationship between people or organizations. Origin: mid 17th century (a cookery term): from French, from lier ‘to bind’ 

• WHAT?       Lucky ’13 LiASON’s earn portraits & $ for referrals
•  At Photo Generations a LiASON is a high school class of 2013 junior portrait model representative–not a French cooking term.  The Photo Generations LiASON has his or her portraits made early in the season, then recommends & distributes bonus invitations to classmates, who in turn arrange a portrait session at Photo Generations.  The LiASON earns print & product credit for each classmate that books a session at Photo Generations in addition to the 2 free senior portrait photography sessions, and possibly cash.   When a classmate reserves a senior portrait session at Photo Generations upon the LiASON’s invitation,  then BOTH THE LiASON  AND the classmate referred by the LiASON receive perks.  Everyone benefits!
• WHO?     Maximum of Two class of 2013 students per High School 
•  A few select Junior graduating Class of 2013 at the high schools in the Brighton/Ann Arbor Area:  Ann Arbor Skyline High School, Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, Ann Arbor Huron High School, Belleville High School, Brighton High School, Chelsea High School, Dexter High School,  Gabriel Richard, Greenhills School, Pinckney High School, Saline High School,  Stockbridge High School, Lincoln HIgh School, MIlan High School,  Whitmore Lake High School, Willow Run High School, Ypsilanti High School, includes other unnamed schools in the Photo Generations area.
• WHEN?   April 13 – May 13  LiASON sessions ….Credits earned till July 13
• LiASONS must have a portrait ‘intro session’ completed between April 13  & May 13.  LiASONs then will commence distrbuting INVITATIONS  to  classmates ASAP.  The LiASON NO LIMITS 90-Minlute session will occur later in summer.
•  LiASON’s will earn credit for classmates who contact and book a senior portrait session at the PHOTO GENERATIONS portrait studio on or before Friday July 13.
• WHERE?       downtown Dexter & special locations
•  Intro portrait modeling sessions will initiate at Photo Generations portrait studio downtown Dexter, and for special circumstances, may occur at a special location, depending on LiASONs interests and activities.
• HOW:      apply ASAP 
• Complete the LiASON application,   available here.   Colleen will review the application and contact you if you qualify. Please consider this a job application!  You will be using your communication skills & earning your senior portraits .  The time you must commit will be concentrated on your initial intro session then for a few weeks  just after your intro portrait session.
•  You will give special LiASON rep cards to classmates.
•  You will also use Facebook on Photo Generations seniors page.
• When a classmate reserves a session at Photo Generations,  referred by you or  your LIASON card or your activity on Facebook, then BOTH YOU AND YOUR CLASS MATE RECEIVE benefits.
• WHY:
• For the FAME, FORTUNE
• Include on your college ap as job experience
• To make fantastic pictures.
• To save parents a little jingle ( a few hundred dollars )
• To avoid missing school yearbook deadlines..to encourage friends to get it done early, to avoid the late summer rush.
• To make relaxed quality portraits the family & friends will appreciate.
• For the betterment of senior portrait photography in the Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland and Western Wayne County Michigan area.

Brielle’s 4 month Photo Session

Brielle came into the studio for her baby portrait session, what a cutie, such a happy little baby girl, the portraits were a breeze, she wore three different head bands and Giggled and laughed forever when her daddy held up the moose. Where did she get those big brown eyes?

When you make the effort the family portrait becomes very special.  It just takes an hour or so one afternoon to get it done. We can make combinations of your family team -fun decoration for the kids room or TV room, front room or kitchen.

Clothing coordination is straightforward.  For small family portraits–by small I mean a nuclear family–just parents and kids, everyone wears jeans and a simple top, babes-can wear just diapers–lots of skin. Kids under 8 years old we keep  the sessions breezy. Lots of floor time. Some wrestling (later in session) some looking at the camera, a some quiet time with mom.

The studio here at Photo Generations is an old 1860′s house with a soft floor to play on & a big bay window for natural window-lit photography.  Colleen is a pro, has been working with cameras and photojournalistic portraits in Ann Arbor predating digital cameras.

The things we do for family pictures, many of the same things you do at home, but somehow these pictures have more presence.. Everyone is in the pictures, and the images aren’t cheesy, and with a little pre-envisioning you will ceate some special family portrait art for your wall.

And afterwards you can stroll over to DQ for an ice cream!

It’s that simple.
