Background of Photographer

I’m Colleen Fitzgerald and I created Photo Generations after several years as a photojournalist. As a news photographer my mantra was “TELL THE STORY”. I was fortunate to work daily to create images of people in Michigan, and beyond, for publication in newspapers and magazines. I am happy to have had that opportunity!

As a photographer and owner of a small business, I still desire to ‘tell the story’ in photographs.
We don’t make many wide angle portraits these days..(I am laughing as I write this) Wedding, business photography and landscape wall art are exceptions to the banish-the-wide-angle rule.
